Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Peptilot — the apps (iOS, Android, web at app.peptilot.com), this website, and related services. Peptilot is operated by [legal entity name, registered address — complete before launch] ("Peptilot", "we", "us").

1. Acceptance & eligibility

By creating an account or using Peptilot you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Peptilot. You represent that you are at least 18 years old, legally able to enter this agreement, not barred from using the service under applicable law, and that you will comply with the laws that apply to you.

2. Not medical advice

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Peptilot does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition;
• Peptilot does not recommend substances, doses, schedules, protocols, injection techniques, or treatment plans — every schedule, titration plan, and log in the app reflects inputs you chose;
• the reconstitution calculator performs arithmetic on the numbers you enter; its range warnings are plausibility checks on that arithmetic, not clinical guidance;
• AI features (Pep Bot, insights, meal scan) produce informational output that may be wrong and must never be treated as medical guidance;
• Peptilot does not sell, prescribe, source, or verify any substance — including the safety, legality, authenticity, purity, or labeling of anything you choose to log;
• educational content and the compound library are informational summaries, not endorsements or claims of safety, efficacy, or legality;
• you are solely responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decision, and you use Peptilot at your own risk.

No professional relationship

Using Peptilot creates no physician–patient, pharmacist–patient, dietitian–client, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship between you and us.

Emergencies

Peptilot is not for emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US) immediately.

HIPAA (US users)

Peptilot is not a "covered entity" or "business associate" under HIPAA, and data you store in Peptilot is not protected health information under HIPAA. Our privacy commitments are set out in the Privacy Policy.

3. Your responsibility & assumption of risk

Laws on peptides, GLP-1 medications, research compounds, and related substances vary sharply by country and state, and many compounds trackable in Peptilot are not approved for human use in some or all jurisdictions. You are solely responsible for: the legality of anything you possess or use; the accuracy of the data you enter; how you interpret and act on anything the app displays; and compliance with the laws that apply to you. You acknowledge that using such substances can involve serious risks — side effects, interactions, contamination, mislabeled products, incorrect administration, injury, or death — and you assume full responsibility for your decisions. Peptilot is a record-keeping tool, not a safety system.

4. Accounts & security

Sign-in is passwordless: one-time codes are sent to your email address. Your email account is therefore the key to your Peptilot account — keep it secure, along with the devices you stay signed in on. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly at hello@peptilot.com if you suspect unauthorized access. One account per person; keep your account information accurate.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Peptilot for any unlawful purpose, including facilitating the illegal purchase, sale, or distribution of any substance;
• submit content you have no right to submit, or another person's data or photos without their explicit consent;
• probe, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts;
• circumvent subscription entitlements, rate limits, or security controls;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or bulk-extract the service or its content, or use it to build a competing dataset;
• misuse AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, or medical-advice content;
• upload malware or interfere with the service's operation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see section 13).

6. Subscriptions & billing

Peptilot is a paid subscription. New accounts start with a 3-day free trial that unlocks the full app, including the AI features. After the trial, Peptilot costs $9.99/€9.99 per month or $39.99/€39.99 per year (local taxes may apply; exact pricing, trial length, and renewal terms are shown at purchase and govern in case of any difference).

• The free trial converts into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. One trial per account. Starting a trial requires a valid payment method held by your app store or payment provider; you are not charged during the trial.
• Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play on mobile (managed through your store account), and by Stripe for web subscriptions when available. Our subscription state is managed by RevenueCat.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in your store subscription settings (or, for web purchases, in the app); cancellation stops the next renewal and your subscription remains active until the end of the trial or the paid period.
• Peptilot requires an active subscription or trial to use. If yours lapses, your data is retained under our Privacy Policy but the app is not accessible until you resubscribe.
• Refunds for store purchases follow Apple's and Google's refund policies.
• EU/EEA consumers: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services; where you ask us to provide the service immediately, you consent to performance starting at purchase and to a refund reduced proportionally to the service already provided, as EU law provides. Statutory warranty rights are unaffected.
• We may change prices prospectively; changes never apply to an already-paid period, and you will be notified before any renewal at a new price.
• Your data remains yours. Export it to CSV or PDF at any time while your subscription or trial is active, and you can request an export or permanent deletion at hello@peptilot.com after it ends.

7. AI features

AI features are provided on a best-effort basis: output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable, and may change as underlying models change. AI output is informational only (see section 2), is not reviewed by medical professionals, and must not be your basis for health decisions. We may apply fair-use limits to keep the feature available for everyone.

8. Reminders & notifications

Reminders and push notifications are convenience features. Delivery depends on your device, OS settings, and third-party infrastructure, and can be delayed, duplicated, or missed. Do not rely on Peptilot notifications for medication, dosing, or any safety-critical purpose.

9. Your content

You own the data and photos you put into Peptilot. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, back up, and display that content to you (and to process it via the providers listed in the Privacy Policy) solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload. Delete individual entries anytime, or everything at once via account deletion.

10. Our intellectual property

The Peptilot apps, website, brand, design, and content (except your content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps for their intended purpose. Feedback you send us may be used to improve Peptilot without obligation to you.

11. Third-party services

Peptilot depends on third parties — Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Stripe, OpenAI (AI), Cloudflare (email), and hosting providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their outages, changes, or acts. Features that depend on a third party may be limited or unavailable when that third party is.

12. Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features, run beta features (marked as such and provided without warranty), and update the apps. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If we ever discontinue Peptilot entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and the opportunity to export your data.

13. Termination

You can stop using Peptilot anytime and delete your account in Settings — deletion is immediate and permanent (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where practicable, if you materially violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or its users. Sections that by nature survive termination (2, 3, 9–10, 14–16) survive.

14. Warranty & liability

Peptilot is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, under product liability law, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the contract possible at all and on which you may reasonably rely), and then only up to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of service. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

15. Indemnity

If your unlawful use of Peptilot, or your violation of these Terms, causes a third-party claim against us, you will indemnify us for the resulting damages and reasonable costs, except to the extent we are at fault.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain applicable, and you may bring claims in your local courts. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

17. App store terms

For iOS, Apple's standard EULA applies additionally; Apple is not a party to these Terms, has no maintenance or support obligations for Peptilot, and is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms against you. For Android, the Google Play Terms of Service apply additionally to your download and billing.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The current version lives at peptilot.com/terms. For material changes we will notify you (email or in-app) before they take effect; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where law requires explicit consent. If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
